Our classroom blog was created because I feel it is extremely important that all students are able to read and express themselves in a digital world. A "blog" is a web log. It is just like your a student's writing journals, except it's on the internet. Students are able to post comments, pictures, and so much more! Happy Blogging!
One of my favorite poets when I was growing up was Shel Silverstein. If you have never been to his website you will definitely want to check it out. http://www.shelsilverstein.com
ReplyDeleteI just loved his sense of humor.I have several Shel Silverstein poems that I love. Recently, I have really enjoyed reading Sick and Peanut Butter Sandwich from Where the Sidewalk Ends. Have you heard them? If so, what do you like or dislike?
I like sick because it is funny. I do not like Peanut Butter Sandwich because I don't like peanut butter jelly sandwiches.

One of my favorite poems is by Shel Silverstien the poem is named "Runny's hind heart". This is one of my favorites because it has all the words misspelled by putting the first letter of the first word and swaping it with the first letter of the second word. (like Runny Babbit) This is one of my favorie poems. ALL THE CREDIT GOES TO SHEL SILVERSTIEN. -Cameron H.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite poem is Who Wants a Cheap Rhinoceros. I like this one because it was funny how they played jumprope with the rhinoceros.
